The Art of Engagement: Growing Your Creative Business Through Interaction
Join us for Making Missoula’s November workshop, “The Art of Engagement: Growing Your Creative Business Through Interaction” with maker and business owner, Marika Marx.
You’ll learn about Marika’s past summer engaging in printing at markets, how it mader her offerings more inclusive, changed her interactions with customers, and grew her business.
Monday, November 17th at 6:00 pm,
Confluence Center 119 W Main.
About Marika:
Marika Marx (she/her/hers) has always been an artist at heart. Born and raised in Kailua, Hawai’i, she moved to the continental US to pursue her passion and earn her bachelor's degree in fine arts. Now based in Missoula, Montana, she runs her own small business called Bird Brain Creations. She adores the summer markets in Missoula, such as the Missoula Makers Market and the Peoples Market. Always grateful to connect in the sunshine with her community and share more about her art processes and inspirations. Marx is an artist who creates for the people who have always wished to be a little more than just human. She is a multidisciplinary artist who creates with whatever she can get her hands on — from paints to prints to pottery and everything in between. When she isn’t making art, you can find her frolicking through the forest, chatting with the birds, and collecting curiosities to share.
